Make a list of all the groups in your city that are doing pro life work, helping pregnant women and providing resources for families. Examples include church groups, pregnancy centers, Students for Life, prayer ministries like Love Life and 40 Days for Life, food banks and many more! Go to these events, bring your friends with you, and connect with other individuals there who are volunteering. Also, get to know the leaders so they know you. It’s okay to start small! 

Begin planning social events and invite pro life leaders, volunteers and friends. These events should be fun! You want to create a space that is exuberant, welcoming and safe. Examples are hosting a cookout, playing sports in a park, having a board game night, etc. As your community grows, you may also want to host educational events. That could look like inviting a pro life leader to talk about their ministry, a doctor educating people about abortion or a book study on pro life apologetics. The sky's the limit! 

Through connecting with individuals and building a community in your city, you are creating friendships that have powerful potential. People have different passions and talents so when you unite those individuals under the banner of LIFE, they are inspired to take action. One person may feel hesitant to participate in pro life outreaches but if they are in a community of people who love life, taking action seems less intimidating. Additionally, Pro Life Social exposes young adults to a multitude of local pro life efforts that they otherwise might not have known about.
